We often find ourselves consumed by the demands of our daily lives and short-term goals, leaving us without a clear plan or sense of purpose. However, envisioning a long-term goal and reflecting on how we want to be remembered can be transformative. The Importance of Long-Term Goals 

Have you ever stopped to think about what you want to be remembered for? As children, we were often asked what we wanted to be when we grew up, and those aspirations shaped our choices and actions. Similarly, thinking about how you want to be remembered can guide your decisions and help you live a more meaningful life. Take a moment to mentally transport yourself to a time of fulfilment, whether it's retirement or old age. What do you want those around you to remember most about you? Is it your successful career, your loving family, or your acts of kindness and compassion? Connect with the feelings that arise as you envision these scenarios. The emotions you experience serve as powerful motivators and provide clarity on the path you need to take.

Using Journaling as a Tool for Self-Discovery

I also understand the fear of the unhealthy footprints that our experiences can leave on our children.
